Add, edit, or delete medication reminders

The Walmart Wellness app features medication reminders to help you (or a loved one) stay on top of a medication schedule—no matter how complex it may be.

There are two types of medication reminders available in the Walmart Wellness app:

  • Daily Medication Reminders
    • These are used to schedule multiple medications taken at the same time every day (morning, afternoon, evening, or bedtime).
    • Reminder times are preset to common times to help you get started (8:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 8:00 PM)—but you can edit the times to fit your needs.
    • Editing or removing a daily medication reminder will affect all medications connected to the reminder
  • Custom Reminders:
    • These are used for medications taken separately—or on a unique schedule.
    • Editing or removing a custom reminder affects only the individual medication connected to the reminder.

Note: When you first scan a medication into the app, a default reminder time will be added automatically (if the label includes specific dosage instructions). For example, a medication listed to "take with breakfast" would default to an 8:00 AM reminder time. Reminder times are also set to match the time zone indicated in your device's internal settings. You can always add, edit, or remove medication reminders at any time.
