Add, edit, and delete medications (or mark inactive)
The Walmart Wellness app makes it easy to always have a current list of medications with you—including information on dosages, refills, and expiration dates. You can add, edit, delete, and manage medication history at your convenience! Just follow the steps below:
Add a medication
Create a medications list by scanning or typing:

Android and iOS Instructions
- Tap the Medications icon.
- Tap the (+) button (bottom right on Android, top right on iOS).
- To scan a medication: Take four separate images of the label.
- To manually enter a medication: Tap Type Instead? on the scanning screen.
We'll notify you by sending a push notification when your medication scan is complete and all of the details for your prescription have been added (including medication name, dosage, and refill information).
Edit a medication
Edit your current list to update or add additional information:

Android Instructions
- Tap the Medications icon.
- Tap on the medication you'd like to edit (e.g. Ibuprofen).
- Tap the pencil icon (top right corner).
- Scroll and tap any field to make changes.
- When you're done tap save (top right corner).

iPhone and iPad Instructions
- Tap the Medications icon (bottom of the screen).
(Make sure you are on the LIST view tab instead of the SCHEDULE view tab) - Tap on the medication you'd like to edit (e.g. Ibuprofen).
- Scroll and tap any field to make changes, or tap Edit (upper right corner).
- Tap Save when finished (upper right corner).
Delete a medication
Remove medications that are no longer needed:

Need to remove a medication permanently?
- Tap Medications.
- Tap the medication name you wish to delete.
- On Android tap the trashcan icon (top right).
- On iOS tap Edit. Then scroll down and tap the red Delete button.
Mark a medication as inactive
Archive a medication for you records:

Inactive medications
No longer taking a med, but want to keep a record of it?
- Tap the Medications module.
- Tap the medication name you wish to mark "inactive."
- Tap the pencil icon (Android) or Edit (iOS).
- Scroll down and tap the uncheck/toggle icon the next to "Active"
- Tap Save at the top right.
