Close a Walmart account

In the Walmart app:

  1. Sign in to the Walmart app. 
  2. Tap Account (bottom right). 
  3. Scroll down to the very bottom of the screen. 
  4. Tap Request to Delete Account. 
  5. Follow the instructions to delete your account. 

For additional help or if you are unable to sign in to your account, call  1-800-WALMART and select Option 1 on your phone keypad.

Note: When you close your account, we may retain some of your information if it is needed to comply with our legal obligations, comply with our record retention policies, or as otherwise permitted by law.
